FREE College Audition Coaching
If you have a college bound high school junior or senior who is thinking about applying to a music school or who is thinking about sending in a CD to support his or her college application, Amadeus can help. Deborah Molodofsky, the founder and director of Amadeus will work with your student in order to help navigate the often complex college application process.
Preparing for college auditions is a process often fraught with anxiety and uncertainty for both students and parents. Aside from your child preparing for his live auditions with his or her private teacher, there is a lot of knowledge that can be shared which can help make the process more successful while lessening your child’s stress.
- Choosing the music to be prepared either within the audition guidelines or for an independently produced supplemental CD for a liberal arts application.
- Expectations of audition committees relating to proficiency levels as well as basic technique.
- Ways to lessen stress and promote optimal performance.
CD’s can be recorded in the Amadeus state of the art recording studio, by Doron Schachter, recording engineer for Bridge Music as well as the New York Philharmonic.
Deborah Molodosky has helped guide advanced high school students through the audition process for Columbia University, Harvard University, University of Michigan School of Music, Curtis Institute, Wesleyan University, New York University, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and Eastman School of Music.10
